As Project Manager you oversee the total execution (technical, operational and financial aspects) of the projects assigned to you.

During the engineering stage, you draw up the technical design (basic and detailed) and the planning according to the specifications of the customer and the current standards.

During the operational stage, you are responsible for the coordination and supervision of all project-related activities, i.e. maintaining contact with all parties, controlling the budgets, quality and realisation terms.

You draw up project-related price inquiries to contractors and suppliers and you draw up the technical evaluation.

You organise safety – health – environmental deliberation before the start and during the realisation of the project.

• You have a Master in bio or chemical engineering, with minimum 5 years experience in (large) projects, preferably in waste water treatment.
• You are a practical team player with excellent communication skills in several languages. Good knowledge of French is an asset.

You are responsible for drawing up and managing the assigned proposal files for our Water Technologies. Main focus will be on large municipal waste water treatment projects (DBO,DBOOT,..) and water re-use.

You are responsible for the analysis of the technical specifications in the tender documents and you determine the essential process choices based on the problem and the demands of the client.
You are responsible for the overall budgeting and cost-calculation of the project and you will analyse project specific risks.

Together with the Sales team you are responsible for the contractual negotiations and the price setting towards the client.

You take care of the documentation and information for the sales department and contribute actively to the general safety on site.

During the commercial stage of the project:

As an Instrumentation Engineer you have following responsibilities:

During the commercial stage of the project:
- Drawing up the instrument list
- Price calculation and choice of material on the basis of the tender documents, P&ID and instrument list

During the engineering stage (main task):
- Drawing up the instrument list
- Drawing up the instrument specifications and calculating valves and measuring orifices
- Calculating & designing the typical diagram (control loops) for wiring the instrumentation
- Drawing up the specifications for the installations works to be carried out on the instruments

During the realisation stage:
- Supervising the instrumentation works
- Testing and starting up of the instruments

You contribute actively to the general safety on site.

• You have a Master in E&I or (electro)mechanics or equal through experience.
• Some years of relevant experience, preferably in one of the following industries: waste incineration, flue gas cleaning, petrochemical or chemical industry, power industry.
• You have knowledge of electrical installations & standards (AREI, ...)
• You have knowledge of all types of instrumentation in a process environment: such as temperature measurements, pressure, flow, level, process analysers like emission monitoring (Continuous Emission Monitoring System), pH, conductivity. Experience with low voltage electricity is an asset.
• Good theoretical knowledge, ability to execute office engineering (such as writing specifications, etc)
• Good user knowledge of MS Office, including Access database manager.
• You can work independently as well as in team.
• You have good communication skills in Dutch & English, knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• The function is located in Willebroek - Belgium. Short stays abroad are part of the job. Travel can be up to 20 – 30 % of your time, especially for testing & start-ups on site.
  

Drawing up (specifying) the automation scope, both in commercial and engineering phase. Providing price calculation and defining the choice of material. Drawing up of detailed function descriptions and design documents. Negotiating specifications with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Degree in automation, or equal through experience.
• Experienced in programming PLC, DCS and SCADA

You are responsible for:

Detailed design of electrical and instrument hardware by the use of automated design packages.
Testing and startup of low voltage electrical circuits, instruments and instrument circuits.

Additional tasks:
Instrument engineering: specifications and selection of instruments, taking into account the specific process conditions.
Low voltage electrical engineering: engineering, specifications and selection of the low voltage electrical equipment.

• You have a Master in electricity or (electro)mechanics or equal through experience.
• You have experience with electrical and instrument circuit design packages (Autocad Electrical), based on a database.
• You have a strong interest in and knowledge/experience of database structure and operation.
• You have experience with the engineering and testing of electrical and/or instrument circuits.
• You can work independently as well as in team.

Development of the technical design for the subproject during the engineering stage, in cooperation with the other project team members

Contact possible suppliers, subcontractors, partners in order to complete the technical evaluation of their proposals

Follow-up of the correct realisation and supervision of the different stages of one or several subprojects

• You have a Master in (electro)mechanics or equal through experience, with at least 2 years of experience with mechanical projects.
• You have knowledge of relevant software packages
• You combine technical expertise with a customer – oriented attitude.
• You have a strong interest in our technologies, a strong sense of responsibility and you are immune to stress.
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other foreign languages is definitely an asset.

As a Quality Inspector, you are authorised to check all the technical drawings.

You see to the expediting and quality control of all mechanical components of the orders for which is decided to execute this control.

You check whether the necessary components are ordered in time and control the feasibility of the agreed terms of delivery.

You check whether the delivered materials/services/products are in accordance with the predetermined specifications.

You draw up quality reports and acceptance reports and formulate proposals for the improvement of determined shortcomings.

• You have a technical higher education degree (preferably Industrial Engineer mechanics) or equal through experience,
• Preferably a degree of welding engineer, experience as internal auditor and quality inspector.
• You have technical insight (you can read and interpret drawings).
• You are accurate and quality driven, you have a sense of responsibility and are stress resistant.
• A good knowledge of English and preferably Dutch is required, knowledge of other foreign languages is an asset.
