MEETING QATAR'S SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

Just last year, Qatar recycled only 8% of 7,000 tonnes of solid waste produced each day with the rest going into landfills. This has changed after the Domestic Solid Waste Management Centre (DSWMC), designed and built by Keppel Seghers, turned operational in October 2011. The facility will also be operated and maintained by Keppel Seghers for 20 years.
